After you view this interview, re-read that 9/21/1897, editorial to Virginia O’Hanlon, which
in part relayed, “A thousand years from now, Virginia, nay, ten times ten
thousand years from now, he (Santa Claus) will continue to make glad the heart
of childhood.”
115
years later, as the head fairy, I know that the “heart of childhood” remains in
us all, sometimes we just have to let go and remember how to be happy. Ernest
Hemingway said “As you get older it is harder to have heroes, but it is sort of
necessary,” and he’s right it is
very necessary. Yakov Smirnoff said “We may have forgotten how to
feel. Nobody is teaching us how to live
happily ever after, as we've heard in fairy tales.”
This Christmas the key in learning how to live happily ever
after, is to remember how to feel, face
all those tough questions with vigor and ask more questions dig deeper and relearn how to live happily
ever after… Just Believe
See you soon...
The
Head Fairy
