Emsella by BTL Review

Staying in Shape & Away from Surgical Procedures in the early 2000's was a monumental task, seemed like one was always recommended. Trying less invasive procedures like #BTL #Emsella 2020 required a little trust, less $$$, and incredibly outstanding results!

Staying in Shape & Away from Surgical Procedures in 2021 literally #effortless

Emsella - wow 6 sessions it's like doing kegel exercises. Approximately, 30 minutes & relaxing - bring a book to read.

Benefits:
It's a treatment for incontinence & definitely helps without surgery which doesn't always work.

Extra Perks: It tightens the vulva (part of your genitals on the outside of your body) & labia, (the folds of skin around your vaginal opening) which can loosen up after pregnancy, as you age and when you lose weight. I have to admit this part was surprising, because you're going to have an incredibly noticeable difference between the mons pubis (the fleshy mound above your vulva) and thru to the lower part of your bum.

Inside and out: you'll find that your skin is tighter in that area - you can wear a bathing suit bottom with confidence and you'll find you can hold it a lot longer.

I was skeptical, but I have to say if you try it you'll be seriously impressed.

Emsculpt Does It Work On The Average Woman? - Review

This is the absolute worst picture I ever posted of myself.  Clothing hides a lot.

January 2020

The pictures that advertise Emsculpt seem deceptive; but are probably true for the 20 something model.  But does it work on us, the girls aged 30,40, 50 +, after we've  had a baby, broke a bone or two, when something that came up limited our workouts, Covid19 lock downs; any and all of those things that get in the way.  Well, things start to sag a bit faster than you think.

No excuses, the above picture is true and I left my face unlike the others you may find on line. Because on those only showing the core -my first thought was "sure" further squinting and questioning is it the same body??

So of course, I had to try it.  I met with Dr. Peggy Gregory above.  She is one of the best in this field. At my first visit, she explained everything and listened to my concerns. Dr. Gregory has been an OBGYN for over twenty years.

So how did it go?  The procedure is truly pain free. It can feel awkward at times and it seems it's less painful when you're not in your best shape. Dr. Gregory said men received the best results while both men and women with well-developed abs could not tolerate the highest level. I thought maybe I was just too overweight or out of shape to get any benefits. Still in that 20 pound range for my target weight I wanted to try it!

Happy to report I wasn't too anything. The answer is YES, it works. Right after the procedure I literally felt lighter, taller and had less lower back pain in fact none. It helped me stick to my workout routine and strengthened my core almost immediately.  I walked out like literally wow! But results ....that no pain - no gain kept ringing in the back of mind and it wasn't until two days later that I felt some tightening like I had seriously worked out my abs. So I took a picture. If you want to see the results click on!

YES!!! This is literally two days after; I checked the dates on the pictures 3 times.

(Disclosure on the picture on the right I put a black line simply to cover my bra.)

I have to say I am shocked each time I pass a mirror. Moreover, my core strength is increasing after each workout. Planks, stomach crunches on the circuit series ab machine and other ab machines and exercises at the gym and then largely at home (gyms closed) are soooo much easier.  At home during quarantine I am happy to report without much dieting, I have been able to maintain and increase my strength and lost 18 lbs in 3 months. Luckily got in two Vanquish Me Treatments before the shut down. Which is absolutely crazy!

When you check prices you'll find them to be anywhere from $3,000 to $3,500 MSRP for 4 sessions over a two week period.   The secret price at this place is so Fairy Tale Access-ible ....  it's not advertised and also the reason I jumped into trying it.

I can say that if you say you want Fairy Tale Access & if you were to take a two week or less vacation in NH stay at a Bed and Breakfast, Hotel, or Airbnb do some sightseeing and tax-free shopping in the same area this providers price would allow you to still have the money left to do it.  Or you can plan on using that 2,000-2500 you save to try some of the other services that this provider does.  Kudos great customer service and reasonable prices!  For a little more than the MSRP for just Emsulpt, I went in for the package deal an Ageless Makeover ... Works on abdominal muscles, adipose tissue and skin to help regain abdominal tone, decrease circumference and tighten.  It also included treatment for pelvic floor muscles - which stretch during pregnancy and delivery. I'm on my way to complete  4 Vanquish ME,   Emsella 6, Exilis 6, Cellutone 6, the Emsulpt 4, completed.

And then  almost 3 months later ... with only 2 Vanquish and 1 Exilis

To further smooth the skin and decrease fat; I'm trying the BTL Exilis Ultra Treatments for 4 weeks; with optimal results that can take up to 3 months. It's a bit of a wait but so far the results have been extraordinary.

I've cut down on any fake foods, trying to stay healthy with natural food choices less meat, exercising, yoga, planks, light weights, and walking 2-5 miles a day depending on the weather. Yoga online with MariaCLaporte@gmail.com She doesn't do a website. But she is honestly another great resource for staying ageless.

All in  it's all, without a doubt it's worth it; especially the package prices at the Ageless Medical Spa.  Lost 18 pounds since I started at the end of January. Back into my 6/8's and feeling great.  I will be ready to tackle the Sahara Desert & all the mystery once we're allowed to travel.

Vivace Microneedling vs. Lasers

Vivace Microneedling  everything you need to know is in that link. However, what you won't find is the experience so here's mine:

A lot!  Let's talk Vivace Micro-needling.  So you see a physician, nurse, doctor of something and they tell you - no there are no pin marks or bumps after Vivace.  They lied, there can be bumps, pin pricks which can take a couple of days to disappear and your skin feels drier than when you went in and it's splotchy for about a week.    The major redness does dissipate by the next day. No major tightening on the first treatment.  However, the bumps & dryness took almost 4 weeks to clear up.  I'm sorry but for the price $700 per session: I want the truth before indulging. They run around 600-1100 per session in different areas in the U.S.

They recommend 3 applications and it's priced a lot cheaper by the package which is not cheap it works out to the $700.

Session One:  Applied up and down but not across. Minimal improvement but they say it's about 3 months after. NO tightness after - as relayed by youtube reviewers; major redness dissipated in a few hours. But there were little dots in some places and dry patches that took almost 4 weeks to clear up.

Session Two: Applied up and down on face; but not across.  Up and down and across on neck so why aren't you doing that on the face? Nurse: I don't feel it needs it. (To be fair it felt like she did it much tighter) and when leaving the tightness in most areas could be felt; but this time no redness! Okay not going to argue with the technician who wasn't as friendly as the first visit.

Went directly to office manager and explained that I want the physician to do next one. Due to the tech's technique and that it is not the criss-cross pattern the way other's said it would be done. She said well she is the specialist. I said but the physician trained her.   This is where I get assertive. I said, Look I'm not impressed with the results of the first visit or this one and I don't believe I am getting the full benefits for what I am paying for.  I want the physician on the last one period! (even tone though)  She said well it takes 3 month's to see the full results. I said I understand that and I won't leave a review until that 3 month period is up; but I want the physician because their should be superficial results after the first visit (confirmed below with makers of machine).  She said she'd look into and get back to me.

Waiting ....she never got back so I sent an email about a week later that I wanted a copy of their certificate of training.  Ended up getting a full refund.  Because I also included that I called the makers of Vivace Aesthetics Biodmedical the creators/sellers of Vivace 800-726-5029.  They explained their training is one day - the procedure should include 2-3 passes over the area being treated. There are also customizable levels for energy levels, depth of needle, amount of time needles in skin, radio frequency etc.  So hardly confident in their ability to do this correctly.

This is how it should be applied!

Moving on to lasers huge difference.  Redness takes a good 24 hours to dissipate whether its, Fraxel or something like the Picco laser or Cynosure.  The difference is in the technician. If they are not experienced the Fraxel can leave you with scars, blistering and very dry patches that can take 6 months to a year or more to dissipate. The do no harm physicians - fail to disclose this.

They also fail to disclose that all of the above can cause hives which is more common with people I spoke with than you'd think. So keep some allergy tabs close by and call a doctor if it happens to you.  Typically it goes away in 3-4 days but you may need something stronger & only available by prescription. Think itchy welts and hard to breath.

They probably all can cause these issues.  But Fraxel can have bad side affects with inexperienced techs.  Picosure laser is very good if your  technician is not practicing on you and covers all areas of your skin. These are the results with a year between pictures totally worth it.  Would have stayed there if her Fraxel training did not burn my skin and then try to have her even less experienced staff do work me.  Thank the beauty gods she didn't do it to my face. This is why you need to leave review's on google or wherever! We have to watch out for each other.

Here's the truth from a trusted source - the training physicians are getting on these lasers is .... ready.... one day.  So if the physician has never used lasers or injected regularly they are the problem in this field and it's a nightmare - way more providers are doing this than should be with minimal training. Be wary ask a lot of questions and if you don't feel comfortable leave! No matter how much you want to get it done leave!!

See you soon, feel free to leave a comment about your experience even better leave that review online. What worked great for you?

Quest Seekers Know ...

We're the ones who can't travel at the moment; but without hesitation continue the quest and spy the hidden beauty surrounding us.

We're battling dragons when we step out and run into mask-less beings.

We're finding new landscapes, dreams and characters in the figment of Authors imaginations and those writers who can still give us just the facts; to unravel and discern.

We're still dreamers, but the impossible in fantasy and the what, where and how of non-fiction and history; begs us to acknowledge the why and be better going forward.

We've seen magic and shared our own at all the right moments.  When we were lost and received directions - from the person hurrying on their way.  When we stopped and acted to help another simply because without thought it was the right thing to do at the right moment in time.

We're the ones who know Freedom is a treasure that needs safe guarding - without the threat to even one life.

We know the quest is an important journey filled with the authority of reason and conscience of the individual. There's no conflict between faith and knowledge or the worth and dignity of a single human life.

We're the one's who've known hurdles and overcame them and know they'll be more.

We've found the secrets to our own unraveling Fairy Tale Access; and encouraged others to share theirs through the art of listening and asking more questions.

We unequivocally know the human spirit is infinite in it's possibilities and it's the unity of experience that evokes tolerance and understanding.

We know the end of the quest should be filled with good works, a completion of social and community involvement in the never-ending search for Truth.

It's all sourced in the same reality.... keep asking questions.  See You Soon,  Love Denise-Marie

Beauty Industry Secrets, Issues & The Non-Disclosed

Background Paralegal/Analyst/TV Host:  Love Travel & Research. The things I cover are happening in real-time and in 2020 I was going to try to do 1 or 2 posts a month or more about Travel, Issues, Beauty Secrets & Dispel Myths, Misconceptions and expose bad guys.  In this blog I typically will not name the bad guys; but I might hyperlink the issue so you can see who the bad guys are.  The good Guys they get named, linked and maybe even a TV interview.

Travel Is On Hold for the Majority: But remember everything has a cycle and this one will end. Save up, dream and plan for that next big adventure!

Beauty Buzz - Everyone is doing something and they have great before and after pictures; but what's the buzz with Micro-needling, Laser Facials, Fillers, Botox, Emsculpt and the average woman? You, know "us" we work out, sometimes we let it go - because life gets in the way.   I will let you know on the claims of the above  after I finish trying a copy of more.  This is the in general "you've got to be kidding me page" capping 5 years of research.

The Things To Be Aware Of!! Ask more questions.

1.  The Industry is not regulated. There are no standards for how long someone should be trained meaning more often than not your the guinea pig.

2. Training for lasers, micro-needling, Botox and fillers is one day!  Just one day.  Granted nurses and doctors use needles a lot - shots, vaccines, drawing blood. But do they understand how the muscles they are injecting into your face or neck work? You'll find when you press for answers they sadly and most concernedly do not.  I found 3 in 5 years who do and that was after interviewing over  20 potential candidates that didn't. Luckily, I found Dr. Peggy Gregory and I have to say she truly is exceptional with injections and using and describing other procedures. So I will be there a bunch to work on achieving my personal best!

3. Surgeons even plastic surgeons, men especially seemed to have a god complex.  There was one who actually overdosed my forehead with Botox and while I got a refund it was extremely uncomfortable for months like 10. In the picture below you can see how my brows dip near the bridge of my nose and create a heaviness across the lid; it's like you want to tape your eyebrows up and in fact you probably will to relieve the tension.

4. Another nurse where I just wanted smooth even textured skin on the arms for sun damage - used the Fraxel laser and I ended up with burns and skin discoloration. She said she had intense training.  However, it was one day!  So get the consultation demand answers so you avoid these types of disappointments.  File the complaint with the nursing association in your state for misrepresentation and failure to follow up when they don't return calls.

Also, with Botox, Xeomin or Dysport when they say they charge per area - that's a red flag.  Seriously the industry is by unit why pay more - when you probably won't need it.

Other things to aware of: billing.  Seriously how many times have you bought anything and the receipt does NOT STATE WHAT YOU bought? Granted some of you will want that.

But, you can't dispute the charges with your credit card company when things go wrong you have to go the consumer protection bureau, better business bureau (which lets face it  - is useless)  and the board governing their practices in your state.

So be wary. Since we can't travel right now - work on getting your strength up and being the best "you" so that next adventure is one of your best ever.  Right now,  I'm working with Ageless Medical Spa in NH to do just that! Dr. Gregory is the consummate professional everything we're looking for. Experience with the products using. Able to deter us from going overboard, reasonable rates and she truly listens. If she can't help she's honest and makes recommendations to others. Maybe it's because she was an Obgyn for years; but she's someone whose able to understand and respond to her patients issues and needs.

I tried Emsculpt there and I'm so impressed! Since I'm more likely than not essentially tied to the states for a while. I am trying Emsulpt, Vanquish and Exilis Ultra 360 for building muscle and targeting fat. (Also, gym time is currently restricted due to closings).   I am frankly shocked at how well it's going! These are my results after one Emsculpt treatment.  I am so excited I'm adding the others, keeping up at the gym, by walking and exercising at home and eating healthy. Its getting me the results I want. I'll share more as I go through them.

And while I am sad I may not be able to freely travel aboard until hopefully sooner than later.  I am planning the next adventure in Algeria for October 2022 specifically to Tassili n'Aljjer  aka in the Sahara Desert in Algeria; where I would have love to have to been in April 2020!  But even if it takes a little more time... it's out there and it's something to look forward to.
