The Practice of Collaborative Law

What do lawyers learn in law school?
They learn to win...

What makes Collaborative Lawyers different?
They start - by thinking about how to solve problems.

The Who, What, When, Why and How Collaborative Law works.

Collaborative Lawyers, like Lincoln, 163 years ago, Discourage litigation. They Persuade neighbors to compromise whenever they can. Point out to them how the nominal winner is often a real loser -- in fees, expenses, and waste of time. As a peacemaker these lawyer's have a superior opportunity of being  good men and women. There will still be business enough.

Victim Rights

Benjamin Franklin  once said Everyman among us reads, and is so easy in his circumstances as to have leisure for conversations of improvement and for acquiring information.”

In Fairy Tales, bad guys are frequently easy to spot; unraveling them in real life can be difficult - when they hide behind veils of unaccountability, lacking in ethics and empathy.

We all know when Emergency Medical Technicians respond to a 911 call it is to help. But who is helping them when they meet an unexpected evil head on and are severely injured because of it?  As the truth unravels in their story, you will be enraged that justice is not always attained.   The most important human endeavor is the striving for morality in our actions. Our inner balance and even our very existence depend on it. Only morality in our actions can give beauty and dignity to life. Albert Einstein

These ladies give beauty and dignity to life by ensuring that what happened to them, does not happen to another.
